The Pushkar Fair, also known as the Pushkar Mela, is a vibrant and traditional festival that draws travelers from around the world to the heart of Rajasthan, India. This year, the Pushkar Fair 2023 promises to be a delightful extravaganza, showcasing the rich tapestry of Rajasthan's culture, tradition, and festivities.

The Pushkar Fair 2023 is scheduled to be a week-long celebration starting from November 18th and concluding on November 27th, with the exception of November 25th, which will be closed due to the Rajasthan Assembly Election. This enchanting event features a series of colorful and exciting activities, such as Mandana competitions, football matches, cultural programs, handicraft exhibitions, camel and horse dance competitions, and even a Bollywood night.

November 18 - Saturday

  • 10:00 AM - Pooja, Flag Hoisting, Nagada Vadan, Sand at Pushkar Fair Ground The festivities kick off with a traditional ceremony, including flag hoisting, religious rituals, and cultural performances.

  • 10:30 AM - Mandana Competition & Group Dance by School Girls at Mela Ground Witness the vibrant Mandana competition and marvel at the mesmerizing dance performance by talented school girls.

  • 11:00 AM - Chak De Rajasthan Football Match (Local) at Mela Ground Local football enthusiasts will compete, showcasing their passion for the sport.

  • 6:00 PM - Deepdaan, Rangoli at Pushkar Sarovar (Lake) Experience the beauty of Rangoli art and the serene atmosphere of Pushkar Sarovar.

November 19 - Sunday

  • 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM - Langri Taang, Satolia Match & Gilli Danda (Local v/s Foreigners) Witness local and foreign participants engage in friendly yet competitive sports activities.

November 20 - Monday

  • 10:00 AM - Kabaddi Match (Local v/s Foreigners) Get ready for a thrilling Kabaddi match, featuring local and international teams.

  • 4:00 PM - Inauguration of Shilpgram Handicraft Explore the exquisite world of Rajasthan's craftsmanship.

November 21 - Tuesday

November 22 - Wednesday

November 26

  • 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Bollywood Night Dance the night away to the latest Bollywood hits under the starlit sky.

November 27

  • 9:30 AM - Mega Cultural Event & Closing Ceremony at Mela Ground The grand finale featuring events like Matka Race, Tug of War, Group Dance, and a memorable conclusion to the Pushkar Fair.

While the Rajasthan Assembly Election on November 25th may impact the event schedule, the spirit of this magical festival will continue with cattle trading and the holy Pushkar bath dip. Come and be a part of this extraordinary celebration of Rajasthan's heritage and traditions.
