Essential Guidelines for Pushkar Camel Safari Tours

  • Mounting the Camel: When mounting the camel, lean back and ensure you’re comfortably seated in the saddle.

  • Securing Your Belongings: Hang your backpack securely on the saddle knob to keep it safe during the ride.

  • Camel Standing and Sitting: As the camel stands up or sits down, lean back and hold the reins (mori) firmly to maintain your balance.

  • Riding Posture: Always hold the reins while riding, as the camel’s gentle rocking motion will sway you back and forth.

  • Turning: To turn right, gently pull the right rein in that direction; to turn left, do the same with the left rein.

  • Galloping: To encourage the camel to gallop, slowly pull both reins together and give the camel a slight kick on both sides with your legs.

  • Stopping: To stop the camel, quickly pull both reins backward.

  • Sitting Down: To make the camel sit down, pull both reins and say the word “Jhu Jhu.”

  • Walking Again: To get the camel walking, simply pull the reins up again.
